>Do credits expire?
Credits you buy never expire. The monthly allowance included with a subscription is re-issued at each renewal rather than accumulating, so it is spent first and does not roll over.
>How fast do credits get used up?
Credits are spent in proportion to what a model actually costs to run, so a fast, cheap model goes much further than a frontier one. On typical models a $5 pack covers roughly 20 plan generations or about 130 chat replies.
>What happens when I run out of credits?
Premium models stop and you are prompted to top up. Free system AI keeps working — every account gets 100,000 AI tokens per day at no cost and no credit charge.
>Can I do both?
Yes, and that is the cheapest way to run heavy months. Subscribers get their monthly allowance plus 25% (Pro) or 50% (Pro Max) extra credits on every pack they buy.
